New life form and unusual physiological reaction

Something, strange. I have not been to the nexus in several months. However, on my return I encountered another sentient life force. This one is.. confusing. I am less startled by it's appearance as I am by my own body's reaction. Part of me wants to run, to hide. I believe this to be my - human side.

And the other part of me has this.. this need to utterly destroy it, to leave it's twisted broken hulk lying on the ground. And not stop until it is dead.

It is not of my past, it is not one of the things that I hunt. So why do I have this physical and psychological reaction in regards to it? I must investigate further. Perhaps Weyland Corp has some records regarding the appearance of these creatures before.

Have not found sight of any other of them.. will now concentrate on self. What are emotions, and how to deal with them. This should be.. interesting.
